Set above a lake, Villa Tola was originally conceived as something in between a restaurant and a house. It remained abandoned for more than 20 years before I started bringing it back to life.

The restoration has been ongoing for almost two years and is far from finished.

Today, the space functions as both a home and a place for gatherings and artist residencies — an evolving environment that continues to take shape through construction, use and the people that inhabit it, becoming less of a project and more of a way of living.
