With Hangzhou and Berlin-based musicians Beñat and Txomin, we created Hiru — an experimental electronic project developed between 2008 and 2009. It started as a way of making music remotely, working from different cities and mixing sound with visual experiments.
At the same time, I was also doing some individual work, like a projection mapping for the first anniversary of a Carhartt store — a piece that reacted live to the DJs’ music. The live version wasn’t recorded, so for the video edit I used a track I produced myself.
