We must stop separating ourselves from each other and strive to PRESERVE the unity we already have in the name of Jesus. We need to focus on the areas of agreement and focus on our unity of objectives. We should care more about the fulfillment of our calling and mission than about theological “hair division.” The reason He said they had a language was because they communicated and agreed through language. “And that [the construction of the tower] is what they are beginning to do; now they are not deprived of anything they intend to do. In other words, the power of the agreement worked for pagans in the spiritual realm as well as for Christians in the spiritual realm. Last time we talked about weapon #16, attachment and loss, and this next weapon is closely related to it: weapon #17 – The Power of Agreement. Let`s look at one of the passages we studied last week when we discussed that the power to bind and lose applies to all believers: In Matthew 18:19, Jesus taught the enormous power that exists when believers agree with each other. He said, “If two of you on earth accept that you touch whatever you ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. Your miracle is a chord away from manifestation! How did God handle this? Did he come down and annihilate them all? No. God said in verse 7, “Come, let us come down and confuse their tongue there [disturb their communication] so that they do not understand each other`s language.” In other words, if communication could be interrupted, they would not agree. God took them out of the agreement by confusing their language; then he scattered them abroad all over the world. (Verse 8.) That`s how He treated him, because if people agree, even if they agree with the devil`s things, their words have power.
Can we conclude that three, by mutual agreement, have THE HUNDREDFOLD power against the enemy? Wow, I love this kind of math! No wonder the devil is trying to divide us! Our agreement strengthens, strengthens and strengthens our authority to bind and lose the enemy! It is difficult to promote an agreement. Paul exhorts the Ephesians just before setting themselves the goal of preserving the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, walking worthy of our call. How do we do that? What does it look like? Lowliness and softness, with. Suffering for a long time, we support each other in love. Jesus said that if two on earth agreed, He would be in the middle of that agreement to see it come true. You are on Earth, so you qualify. If you agree with another believer to touch something that is consistent with God`s Word, He is in your midst to perform it. With guaranteed results like these, why don`t we use this spiritual tool more often? A biblical agreement is based on the Word of God. Some people think that as long as you only pray to more than one person in a room, you have consent. But this is not a real agreement. If you want to come to a true biblical agreement with someone or even a group of people, all parties must stand on the Word of the living God. This is the essence of prayer.

It ensures our success in our war against the enemy. It ensures the Presence of the Lord in our midst and His blessing on our efforts. It attracts the providential attention of the father and is an obstacle to the promotion of the devil`s kingdom. And above all, it is proof to the world that Jesus was sent by God to be our Savior. Say to yourself, “I refuse to think or believe anything that contradicts this agreement.” Then, when Satan tries to slip into negative thoughts and break your faith, you have to tell him, “No, no, no, hell! I do not think you are saying that. I believe what the word says. So take out your Bible. Return to the Word and soak up your mind. Obey Proverbs 4 and keep it before your eyes. Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He made it clear that spiritual authority over all the power of the enemy will accompany those who BELIEVE. It is a general concession of authority to ALL believers.
And as in the other verses we`ve reviewed, this spiritual power increases by at least 10 times when we work in agreement in teams of at least two people. .
