The EJCDC`s 2018 Construction Contract Supplementary Terms (C-800) are the most comprehensive document of its kind ever published. Based on the Institute of Building Specifications` “Practice Manual” format, this comprehensive document covers many key topics. The U.S. Department of Agriculture for Rural Development has pre-approved the use of a select group of standard EJCDC Engineer and Series documents for use in projects funded under the Rus Water and Waste Management Program, as described in RUS Bulletin 1780-26. Please note that Bulletin 1780-26 was updated on 6/20/2020 to pre-authorize the use of a 2018 C Series group of documents and the use of the 2014 edition of E-500. The Engineers Joint Contract Documents Committee (EJCDC®) today released the 2018 edition of the EJCDC® family of construction documents. These new documents are intended for use in technical construction projects, where the owner commissions an engineering firm to draw up drawings and specifications, and then separately commissions a contractor to carry out the work. The C series assumes that the designer is involved during construction. The 2018 edition of the “General Conditions of the Construction Contract” (C-700) describes the basic conditions between the owner and the contractor published in 2018.
The EJCDC recently released a brand new document, the 2014 edition of P3-508, Public-Private Partnership Agreement.
